Technopark put restrictions on film shooting in campus

TechnoparkToday.com >> Technopark has decided to restrict videography in and around the campus n the wake of a complaint submitted by techies on the misuse of landmarks of the campus in a serial telecasted by Asianet.

According to the complaint, the programme which supposedly portrays the lives of IT professionals inside Technopark, pictures them as socially immoral and irresponsible citizens.Which is far away from the actuals,and creating lots of troubles for the IT professionals working in Technopark. The television programme has affected the women force working in Technopark who are now typecast in an unacceptable way.

TechnoparkToday, along with many other organizations and the entire IT community strongly raised the voice against it, and the authorities now decided to set restrictions for videography/film shooting on the premises.

Technopark management decided not to allow further videography inside the campus without proper verification and written approval on the terms and conditions. The crew of the television programme has agreed to remove some of the images and the programme will not be telecast during prime time.
