TechnoparkToday(Dec, 2013) > Gone are the days of bad roads. Almost all stretches of roads in Technopark are being re-layed. It is now time, for an easy ride all over. All driving hassles have come to a closure.
However, with better roads, road rules are easily forgotten. Rash driving becomes a norm. Are we going to drive at killer speed and risk lives of fellow humans and ourselves ??? Technopark employees and cab drivers should adhere to some safety norms within the campus and avoid further mishaps.
Overtaking a vehicle on wrong side (from left) is dangerous for both the vehicles. Do not overtake near junctions and bends. When a vehicle is overtaking you do not increase speed or do other acts which would make it difficult for the overtaking vehicle to cross over.
While at Junctions driving with extra caution. There may be innocent pedestrians trying using the roads, especially the junctions and roads near Tejaswini, Parkcentre and Nila.
Always keep left and take U-turns at assigned places only. Use indicators as and when applicable.
Ensure there is no over speeding with in the campus. The designated speed limit within the campus is 20 KMPH.
Vehicles have to be regularly serviced and must have efficient brakes.
Use of head lights from 6PM to 6AM is a mandate. Use indicators as and when applicable.
If violations are observed, report to the nearest security desk with the vehicle number.
Drive slow, Drive safe !!!!!! Not just within the campus but everywhere !!!!
Thanks technopark for fixing the roads, it was very difficult to ride on those roads. but now its good. hopefully it will last long – one thing we should appreciate – that the quality of road works within the technopark campus is much much more than the one in outside.
