Technopark is now Under Trivandrum City Police

TechnoparkToday.com>> The state Cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to add Technopark and Kazhakuttam police station to the City police limits.  This will be a good news for Techies as it will provide a better security in Technopark.

This will improve the urban policing system which ensures quick and timely intervention of the police.

Currently, Kazhakuttom is under rural circle, which lacks vehicles and personals for immediate response.  Once the, Kazhakuttom police station is attached to City Police, all calls made to emergency helpline number ‘100’ will go to the city control room, where the officials will coordinate with police on roads to ensure emergency help.

This was a long-standing demand from Technopark and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala had announced last year, during a meeting at Technopark, that a decision had already been taken to add Kazhakuttam to the City police limits.
