TechnoparkToday.com(Aug, 2015):Technopark will switch back into a festive mode with a series of events being lined up from August 3 as part of its silver jubilee celebrations.
The celebrations will begin on Monday evening with prize distribution for the short film contest titled ‘Lights Camera Action’ conducted by Prathidhwani, a socio-cultural forum of Technopark employees. There will also be a screening of the short films followed by a Ghazal evening with renowned singer Shri.Padmakumar.
An inter-company dance competition named TARANG will be held in association with Natana, the cultural club of Technopark, at 6.00 pm at Technopark Amphitheatre on August 4. Prizes for different contests organised as part of the celebrations will also be distributed on the occasion. A unique in-house event, an eventide with the upcoming sensational music bandMasala Coffee, will be held at 8.00 pm.
Chief Minister Shri Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the valedictory function of the silver jubilee celebrations on August 5 evening at Amphitheatre near Park Centre, which will be attended by several ministers and dignitaries including IT Minister Shri PK Kunhalikutty. In the event, Chief Minister will honour Technopark’s formative team.
The valedictory function will be followed by a live performance by music band Thaikkudam Bridge. The show will start at 7.15 pm. Both valedictory function and the music show are open for public.
The get-together for Technopark CEOs with Shri PH Kurien, Principal Secretary to the Department of IT and Industries, will be held on August 6.
To mark the silver jubilee celebrations, Technopark will lay the foundation stone for the largest building in its Phase- I campus and also inaugurate a new Rs2.5 crore solid waste management plant and a new security control room.
