Tejus-IBS Candle Team ‘Prajyot’ crosses 100+ blood donations

Technoparktoday.com>> Tejus – the blood donation forum of Technopark have been arranging weekly trips for blood donors to Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum as a part of their Vision 2020 – Self Sufficiency of Blood in RCC blood bank.

IBS – Candle Team have come forward to support this noble cause by providing 5 trips per month. Tejus arranges the donors and IBS – Candle Team provides the transportation. ‘Prajyot’ campaign started in October 2015 and now Tejus has successfully crossed the Century mark with respect to number of donors. This week, they completed 20 trips. Total of 116 donors were sent to RCC as part of Prajyot, out of that 105 of them were able to donate.

Tejus thank all the donors, and looks forward to encourage more donors to volunteer for donation at RCC. Interested techies can send an email to [email protected], with their name, blood group, contact number, email id, building name, organization name.

Tejus has organized 4000 plus blood donations and 75 plus camps in the last three years. Operating over the years in Technopark, Tejus is successful in bringing out regular blood donors from Technopark. The organization has come to the aid of several people during crisis situations.
