Toonz Academy to organize Seminar on Animation and Visual Effects

January 21, 2013 – Toonz Academy, the Animation education division of Technopark-based Toonz Animation India is organizing a workshop – ‘Animation and Visual Effects Seminar’ on January 23, 2013, at Hotel Pankaj, Trivandrum.  The seminar will be an interactive session with industry experts. The free seminar will begin at 3 pm.

The seminar will focus on the career opportunities in the Animation & Visual Effects sector. The horizon that defines animation is now being broadened to include not only the entertainment sector, but also to non-entertainment and increasingly to telecommunications.  The seminar will also include a live demo on making of animation films.

“Animation is considered to be the most attractive genre for new and emerging platforms like media convergence, mobile media, online games etc. Animation is also increasingly being used for education called ‘edutainment’, and also in interactive CDs. Fields like Art, architecture, education, engineering, forensics, simulation and gaming industry, space exploration, military etc will all soon be using animation techniques increasingly in their day-to-day activities and the career possibilities are myriad” said Toonz Animation CEO, P Jayakumar.
