Tragedy struck the Tech a break, when a young software engineer died while participating in the tech a break
rally. All events including the DJ which scheduled after the rally have been canceled.
Bhuvana Sundar, a software engineer collapsed while performing ‘pulikalli’,he was rushed in to hospital. But all attempts to revive him were futile.Bhuvana Sundar, a native of TamilNadu, has been working in technopark for the last couple of years.
We will definitely miss him. Technoparktoday.com and the entire techie community extending our deepest sympathies to his family.
He is such a nice companion, and a nice person. May his soul rest in peace.
May his soul rest in peace. btw,What is the exact reson for his death?
What i heard, it was a cardiac arrest, but in vyganews, they says like
“Buvana Sunder had been participating in the costumes of a tiger in the rally. Accidentally the costume got tangled in his leg and he fall down hitting his head on the road.”
Oh! very sad news. May his soul rest in peace.
Sad news, may his sould rest in peace. anyone knows the rest of the tech a break events?
very sad news.
Very sad news. He was from which company?
He is frm IBS
Heard that IBS is not participating any more events this year tech a break…
He was dancing with enthusiasm and saw him posing for photos near Bhavani before the rally. I noticed him, and to be honest I remember only this guy from the IBS pulikali team. I was really shocked to hear this news. May his soul rest in peace.
Same here Kishore, He is the only one even i noticed in pulikali team,he was dancing with much enthusiasm, and he looked like really enjoying it by himself. i was also shocked when i saw this photo today morning. May his soul rest in peace.
May his soul rest in peace.
May your soul rest in peace my dear friend. 🙁 we really miss you. we can’t believe it even now.
This really is a shocking news. I echo Kishore and Nisha. I still vividly remember his face as he was really enjoying dancing to the tunes. We were standing at the side from where this photograph was taken and he came near the crowd standing over here. May his soul rest in peace!
This is really sad. My tears and deep prayers for his soul to rest in peace.
Such a sad event. I feel for his parents and relatives :(.
Its really very sad for my dear colleague & friend, late Bhuvana Sundar. He was soo nice & a very innocent guy. Always carried an extra enery for what all things he did. He was dancing along with me in the rally. I didn’t know that this soon he……..May his soul rest in peace my dear friend
Well its absurd that people are just not thinking why it happened. We know that what stupid kind of safety measures was taken for the rally. right from the beginning i have noticed this man that he was dizzy and almost tired. he asked for water to guy but the guy refused. well i heard that no first aid was given to him even after 15 minutes he fell.. the only one crap ambulance without oxygen facility was locked behind the possession. this would’nt have happened if there was 2 or 3 ambulances on each junctions. well its even worse after he died… it was a purely working day for IBS. Manorama did not report the news of the death as its the sponser of the function. And tech a break is going as usual. what a shame…shame onu…shame on myself i am working here
@Jomax, if we start the blame games and controversy theories that will go on. yes, one thing which i noticed is, he was very active and keep dancing in the entire time. but if someone is not giving water to him, do you think that is intentional or that person was thinking about the danger which is awaiting for this guy? Absolutely NO… sometimes we may play pranks to our friends, but please don’t misinterpret it in some other sense.
And about the company working hours. That day was not a holiday and every company was functioning normally. The news of his demise reached here, late after starting the DJ party ( probably around 6 PM ).
The entire technopark is in the spirit of rally. Nobody will do anything intentionally to harm any other person here. but whatever happened is happened and that was quite unfortunate.
Then about the ambulance, do you think it is practical to keep each ambulance in each junction? I don’t think so. In the light of such a disaster we can go for some more precautions and facilities next time.
1. One ambulance with Oxygen and all the possible facilities
2. One doctor and medical team should be there ( with all the first aid and medicines )
3. Police and Fire force team
4. Provision to give energy drinks/water for each of the team
5. Give information to the companies, that people with health problems should take utmost care while participating in rally.
6.
Hi Jomax, am agreeing some of your points. we can’t c any human value… i think at least IBS will move back from the fun.. that is also not happened.. next day itself peoples forgot this incident… it’s very SAD..
Atually IBS conducted a survey internally among all the employees, and its their decision to continue with the tech a break and whatever prizes they win will be dedicated to Bhuvana.
Its the decesion of the employees.
IBS also announced instituting a Trophy in the fond memory of their colleague, for the most livewire and enthusiastic participant in Tech-a-break who has to be nominated by companies. In fact as a respect for Bhuvana, IBS ran an internal poll to decide on continuing their participation in the remaining events of Tech-a-break. “Any prize that we win would be dedicated to Bhuvanaâ€,
What Logic.. it may b some few people’s decision…
No it is the decision of majority of people. thats why they put it for voting.
Backing out of such a big company like IBS certainly affect the tech a break event, and thats not a right way to pay homage to such a very active person like Bhuvana.
What IBS did is right. they decided not to spoil the spirit the entire technopark crowd, and at the same time they are aknowleding the loss, and dedicating their rest of the efforts in the memory of their employee.
