The nature of work is changing—business success, more than ever before, is critically dependent on a workforce’s ability to seamlessly and instantly connect and communicate with each other as well as customers, partners and suppliers across national boundaries from wherever they are, even from home in Kerala!
The role of IT in delivering against these requirements is now more critical than ever, which creates a significant and growing business opportunity in the emerging space of unified communications and collaboration.
This session will address the global skills shortage and the importance to accommodate work from home initiatives to attract the best talent. The session will detail the convergence of email, unified messaging, web conferencing, instant messaging (IM), audio/video collaboration, speech recognition, and integrated presence making work from home a reality.
