UST Global enters Latin American market

nd-to-end IT solutions provider for the Global 1,000 market, UST Global, which has operations at the Technopark has ventured into the Latin American market in a tie-up with General Electric.

UST Global officials said the company would be the majority partner in a new IT services delivery centre in Chile, with GE, the minority partner and current UST customer, to be the venture’s first customer. They said the Chile government had committed to provide incentives towards the development and ongoing operations of the delivery centre.

The new location will expand UST Global’s geographic footprint to nine countries across five continents, and will serve UST customers worldwide when it opens later this year. Joe Nalkara, joint COO of UST Global said the centre would serve the company’s Spanish-speaking customers as well as deliver IT services to clients globally.

California-headquartered UST Global has over 6,000 employees at present, a majority of them based in Kerala.
