UST Global,  has launched a continuing education programme targeting management capability development for the IT workforce. The UST MBA Program is a fully online management education programme customised for the new age IT professional, and  in partnership with the Bharathiar University.
As an extension of the program, deserving students from various institutions in the State will be provided an opportunity to earn an MBA degree fully sponsored by UST Global.
In the first phase, the UST MBA Program covers around 500 employees selected from the offshore centres offering them a chance to earn their MBA degree without a break in their career. The company will bear the entire expense of the programme for its employees, and will also sponsor students handpicked from the economically backward sections of society to pursue higher education and gain a management degree through the same programme.

Many IT companies are providing higher education options to its employees. for example Wipro is assisting their employee to take MS degree from BITS Pilani. Infosys and TCS sponsoring their employees to take executive MBAs from various IIMs in india.

All these are kind of employee engagement program. there is another angle for this, once the employer is sponsoring for a course, the employee can’t leave the company till the course complete. thus the employer can make sure that he/she would be there for at least that much year.
and once the employee leave the company, he can’t continue the course, because it is sponsored by the compnay only.
good or bad, now its a choice of the employee.
any how for getting degree free of cost through employer with job is good.
restaurant or hotel management course after 12 Arts complete a full course of recognized institute. all types of online courses is a waste of money.
You can do specialization in other branches also like Marketing or finance. or learn some languages as you are in IT company.
