Bad news for the techies in technopark on this valentines’ day. The DJ show, as the part of valentines day in Leela Food court got cancelled it seems. we got a mail from the management stating that
Dear All,
We are sorry to let you know the Valentines DJ on the floor event has to be cancelled as a company in Leela Info park has informed the management that the event will interrupt the daily functions.
But, we will have the promised offers from our counters for the Valentines day.
We greatly value your presence, and we thank you for your understanding, and again, we sincerely and profusely apologize.
Techies are really surprised and still wondering which is that company working even after 6.30 PM and fearing their work would be affected even after the 6.30 PM!.
“Big companies like Infosys/UST Global/Allainz cornhill never complained about a full day long programs during the onam/xmas/or the occasions of special celebrations on the same building, that even on the open atrium” – Says Rajkumar, A Software Engineer.
“I strongly doubted such a complaint from that specific company may due to some grudge, or what else? ” – says kevin thomas, Another software engineer.
Incidents like this once again proved that, All day work, and  no FUN for techies in Technopark.
Anybody having any idea about that @#@# company? this is against the interest of tech community? what hell on earth that poor little company doing after 6.30 PM?
How dare? working after 6.30PM ,that even the normal office hours shows in inefficient resources in that company, and they too complain that their ‘operations’ will be affected. what a joke?
we are complaining that there are no fun in technopark. why? the people and companies are like this only. they dont want to let their employees to take a break. they just squeeze their employees for the profit, and ultimately, all day work and no fun makes techies dull.
techies should react to such stubbornness of companies. because this DJ is a one day event that even after the 6.30 PM. not a regular event.
get lost you damn company. we hope your company won’t be here on the next valentine’d day.
I suggest every techie should gather there and celebrate the valentines day with a bash. lets see how the company can restrict the techies. this is just like provoking the tech community.
No companies so far denied the techies rights to celebrate. the Cofee beenz in bhavani were regularly conducting the DJ shows in every month. but nobody complained so far. this is technopark and the tagline itself is the Harmony at work. not the intolerance at work..
Forgot that… Let’s join, celebrate and enjoy… same place, same time…

I don’t understand whats the reason for these complaints from some of these idiots.. Every techies should come there at the same time and make that event a memorable one.. We can organise it.. Come forward techies…..
Technopark is the place where the most number of young people are working, and there are no parties or celebration during the valentines day. and the only one party was cancelled by some damn @#@ companies.
Its pity to see non celebrating people and companies, in an event like this. working is not the only thing to do in your life. entertainments and celebrations should be also there, then only the people will get energized and become fresh.
friends, come forward for a big celebration there on the same time same venue, lets see what the damn #@@# company can do….
Anybody have some money can start a company there in technopark. Working beyond 6:30 PM is not a new thing in Technopark. But I don’t know how the party will affect the operations of the company. Moreover its is not a full day party, only after 6:30 PM. Yes, Once again Its is proved that employees there in technopark have no social or personal life. They do only have professional life. Just recall those incidents of heart attacks happened to one guy during tech a break celebration. Can this party location be shifted to Open air auditorium ? Or we should join our hands and be there at the location on time and lets enjoy. Lets see what that f—ing company can do !!!!

Bloody companies like this is preventing the employees to take a break. they wanted everyone to work 12-14 hours in a day, and make maximum profit. how long a person can work like this? work life balance should be there for a healthy mind and better result. working 6.30 PM is odd, and its very strange that the company complained that the party will affect its operation.
Anyone, please enquire about the company, and inform the techies about it? lets see what we can do against such sick companies and people.

Allianz is holding a big Valentine bash for it’s employees in it’s pantry and I truly feel really honoured to be working in a company where the employee morale is kept high !!
However, I cannot say anything about this ” alleged ” company, as for all we know, it might have been that the management of Leela food court had not got the licence to hold a DJ event ( you do need one, often paying thousands to the licencing authority) and these guys must be just cooking up this story to get people to get people’s attention off themselves.
Why else do you explain the fact that this show was just cancelled without warning. If the “company” who was legally occupying the floors did not come to know about this – then it shows poor communication between the event managers and the management !!
All in all – I fully agree with the Tech community that yet again – we have been taken for a ride !!
which are the companies functioning on the same building or at least in the same floor? any idea?
