Smart Autos in Kazhakootam : Flagged off by Manoj Abraham IG

TechnoparkToday.com>> The Vechile ST tab enabled Smart Autos with high security features and GPS started plying on roads in Kazhakootam. This facility was piloted in 10 selected Autos in Trivandrum and now as succeeding step and to provide a safer environment for Techies, selected Autos in Kazhakootam have been initialized with the same features.

Manoj Abraham(Inspector General of Police), officially flagged off the Inaugural event held on 10th June 2016 at Bhavani-Tejeswini juntion in Technopark. Sparjan Kumar(Commissioner of Police), Siva Vikram (Dy Commissioner of Police Law & Order), Ramnath(CEO, Technopark) were part of the Inaugural Ceremony.

The company also provides Mobile App that is available in Play Store for the passengers as like the serives provided by OLA & Uber. Users can get to know available vehicles in real time in a specific locality with their best rate for a service. Usage of Tablets rather than a smart phone provides better tracking, reliabity and accuracy. The photo and license number of the driver will be displayed which would bring a comfort zone to the passengers.

The app displays the nearest available vehicles with options to list or bid. Bidding request alerts nearest Autos. Any deviation from route can be informed to the police by pressing emergency button on the tab and the user’s phone.

As of now, there are 7 Smart Autos in Kazhakootam and 10 in Trivandrum City. The numbers will be increased based on the feedback provided by the passengers.
