Voluntary Blood Donation at Technopark on 28th April

TechnoparkToday.com>> With the ongoing season of summer vacations and public holidays, most of the blood banks in Trivandrum are facing acute shortage of blood. Many planned surgeries, especially surgeries of children are forced to post pone due to blood shortage.

As a result, many people are in deep distress and the call of the hour is to address this concern in a more direct way. Main blood donors to the hospitals are college students. As the colleges are shut down for summer vacation, huge portion of blood donors are not available.
 
Hence, Tejus have come forward to conduct a voluntary blood donation drive in Tejaswini Building, Technopark on 28 April 2016 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. Team Tejus requests all interested techies to donate blood and support the noble cause.
