TechnoparkToday.com : Vivekananda Study Circle (VSC) a socio-cultural organisation of Technopark employees conducts Commemoration of India’s 70th year of Independence and Rakshabandhan festival in Technopark, On August 16, 2017, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Travancore Hall, Park Center.
Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Honorable Member of Parliament will be the chief guest for this function and will be delivering a speech on the topic: “ British Raj in India : An Era of Darkness”. It is in the context of Dr. Shashi Tharoor’s famous Oxford Union Speech, which went viral on the internet – “British Does Owe Reparations to her Former colonies “and his latest book “An Era of Darkness”.
Shri. Sriram Venkitaraman. IAS (Director of Employment, Kerala) will be the Guest Speaker on this Occasion. Technopark CEO Shri. Hrishikesh Nair will preside over the function.
Renowned photographer Shri. BalanMadhavan will announce results of Chhaya 2017,second edition of the Technopark photography competition, at this function. The awards for Chhaya2017 winners will be distributed during this function. Selected photographs of the contestants will be exhibited in the Bhavani Atrium on Aug 16 th from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We request the Technopark community to visit the photo exhibition and cheer our techie photography talents.
