White Oval Technologies wins TPL 2014

TechnoparkToday.com>> June 2014: Technopark Premier League Cricket tournament, the prestigious annual event conducted by Technopark, is concluded. The final match was held on 31st May, 2014 between White Oval Technologies V/s R R Donnelley, which White Oval won by 7 wickets. RRD was limited to 62 runs in 12 overs while loosing 9 wickets during their first batting. While chasing, White Oval took 65 runs from 10.2 overs loosing 3 wickets, comfortably beating RRD and bagging the title.

Though most of the time match was in White Oval’s favor, RRD put up a tough competition which gave the audience a well deserved nail-biter final. Man of the match and Best bowler of the tournament was also bagged by White Oval while Man of the series was bagged by RRD.

The match was succeeded by the prize distribution ceremony attended by Rishiraj Singh IPS, M. Vasudevan, K. V. Rajendran etc. During the ceremony Rishiraj Singh was retrospective about his college days when he played in State level cricket. He mentioned that TPL must be enrolled to the book of records as it must be the longest Cricket tournament with the most number of teams participated, in professional realm. M. Vasudevan mentioned that, White Oval being relatively a new company in Technopark winning over one of the oldest companies in Technopark is amazing to watch. White Oval spoke person said its a dream come true moment for them and they will cherish it for many years to come.
