Workshop on E-waste Management at Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>> Aug 06, 2013:  ‘Road Map for Sound Management of E-waste in Kerala’, the workshop on e-waste management will be held Travancore Hall, Technopark on August 8, 2013 from 9.30 am to 5.45 pm. The workshop will facilitate deliberations and information exchange on e-waste rules and their implementation among the prominent stakeholders in Kerala.

The workshop is jointly organized by Toxics Link, the environmental NGO based in New Delhi, and the Center for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA), Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) and the Technopark Technology Incubation Center (T-TBIC).

Cooperation Minister C N Balakrishnan will be the chief guest at the inaugural session. Dr K C Chandrasekharan Nair, CFO, Technopark, will deliver the special address. M A Vahid MLA will preside over the function. The theme for the seminar will be presented by Satish Sinha. Dr C S P Iyer of CISSA will welcome the gathering.
